Considering therapy?

  • Mental health therapy (a.k.a psychotherapy ) is “a treatment in which a trained mental health professional helps a person understand and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to improve mental and emotional well-being.”

I truly believe in the power of human connection and feeling fully seen and heard.

  • Therapy can help you understand the root of your challenges, navigate mental health concerns, develop coping and relationship skills, process life transitions, and build resilience. By increasing self-awareness, you can gain greater control over your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, leading to a more fulfilling life.

The physical act of talking out your problems can be beneficial as it helps release built-up emotions, organize your thoughts, and gain clarity by putting feelings into words.

  • Therapy via telehealth can be just as effective as in-person sessions. Virtual therapy makes getting support easier and more convenient. You don’t have to worry about travel time, and you can participate from the comfort of your own home.

Come as you are—comfy clothes encouraged and furry friends always welcome to pop in and say hi!

  • A licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) is an individual licensed in their state to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions. To receive this license, one must receive a Master’s degree in Social Work, complete 2-4 years of supervised clinical training, and pass a rigorous licensing exam.

Specialities
  • Telehealth works best for clients who can focus and engage through a computer or tablet for 45–60 minutes, have a private and quiet space to talk openly, and feel comfortable using video technology. Clients must be physically located in the state of New Jersey during their sessions. If you meet these criteria, telehealth offers a convenient and effective way to receive therapy from anywhere in NJ.
